Exhibitions
Among the many exhibitions at the Hawke's Bay Museum (on Marine Parade and Herschell Street) is one that tells the story of the 1931 earthquake and features "Survivors Stories", a 20 minute video.

Open 10am to 6pm daily (no admission after 5.30pm). There's also a permament exhibition about the Art Deco style, showing items from the Museum's extensive Art Deco Collection.

In addition to participating in an Art Deco Guided Walk, take time to visit the Museum for the earthquake experience which will add value to your heritage and cultural experience while visiting Napier.
