Marewa Menader
Use the MAREWA MEANDER leaflet to explore Domestic Art Deco in Napier's suburb of Marewa (Maori for 'Gift From the Sea').

Discover the house and garden styles of the 1930s and 1940s in this uniquely concentrated area built on former swamp-land raised by the 1931 Earthquake. The Meander takes from 1 to 1½ hours. The starting point is near the Marewa Shops, 1·4 kilometres (1 mile) from downtown Napier.

Cost
MAREWA MEANDER leaflets are available for $3 at the Art Deco Shop and the Napier Visitor Information Centre.
