Parking is limited around the city due to the road closures in operation during the festival. The Art Deco Trust in association with Napier City Council has made available extra parking options on Marine Parade for the Public, Freedom Campers, Self-Contained Motor Homes and Vintage Cars. These parking areas are not monitored by security therefore you park in these areas at your own risk.

Mobility Access - Friday 17 to Sunday 19 February 2017
Mobility Parking is available for mobility card holders during the Festival. Mobility card holders are required to have a barrier pass and Art Deco Trust mobility parking permit to access parking within the temporary road closures. Due to high demand for mobility parking the Art Deco Trust is only able to allocate restricted times to ensure fair access to these parks. Mobility card holders are required to display the barrier pass, Art Deco mobility parking permit and the individual's mobility parking card on the vehicle's dashboard at all times.

Barrier passes are available for Mobility drop off and pick ups. These are available for people who have transport with someone else, but have mobility challenges that inhibit walking long distances. The barrier passes will give the holder access through temporary road closures that are in place for the duration of the Festival. The barrier pass does not give permission to park within the restricted area. Vehicles must off load or pick up passengers and remove their vehicles immediately. The barrier pass is required to be displayed on the vehicle's dashboard at all times.

Napier City Council has given the Art Deco Trust access to their private car park on Saturday 18 Feb and Sunday 19 Feb for mobility parking. Access to this car park is located behind the Napier City Council building via Dalton Street entrance. This car park will be monitored by a marshal. For access to this car park you are only required to display your personal mobility card.
Vintage Car Parking – Friday 17 to Sunday 19 February 2017
Vintage cars registered in Saturday’s Vintage Car Parade are permitted entry and parking in the restricted area subject to the certain conditions and availability.
Limited parking on the lower lawn between the path and sea is available for Vintage Cars not participating in the Vintage Car Parade. Entry is by permit only. For more information and bookings, contact the Art Deco Trust –
