Donations and memberships are the lifeblood of the Art Deco Trust.

The Trust is a preservation organisation that uses the economic benefits from membership and donations to preserve, promote and celebrate the historical and architectural importance of our buildings in the central Napier CBD - referred to the as the Art Deco precinct.
 

The Trust works in many ways such as:

• Conducting year-round guided walks and tours
• Operating the Art Deco Centre, a shop packed full of mementos and information from the Deco era.
• Staging annual Art Deco Events in February and July
• Assisting journalists, photographers and film crews to record Napier for world-wide publication.
• Promoting Napier nationally and internationally
• Providing colour schemes and working with businesses and building owners to preserve and enhance Napier.
• Cooperating with the Napier City Council to encourage building preservation.
