Inspired by our past
Art Deco Trust annually produces the Art Deco Festival Napier – Hawke’s Bay largest immersive event, celebrating Napier’s rich art deco era heritage.
Income for the Festival is generated by ticket sales, sponsorship, grant funding, and donations, which supports the presentation of weekend long FREE community events for all the community to enjoy. With grant funding sources decreasing, we are now seeking new revenue streams to support our work:
Inspired by the bold civic spirit of the past, like the ‘Thirty Thousand Club’, which formed in 1913 by Napier locals who set their sights on growing the city’s population to 30,000 and enriching the city with bold beautification projects, ‘Thirty Thousand Club’ members efforts significantly contributed to Napier’s growth and development, making it a renowned tourist destination and leaving a legacy on its infrastructure and identity.
Following in that same spirit of ambition, the Trust has created ‘The 100 Club’; bringing together those who believe in Napier’s potential and want to invest in the future of its iconic celebration. A 100 Club Membership unites patrons committed to securing the future of the Art Deco Festival Napier.
Our goal is to annually raise $100,000 from club members to directly help support our annual Art Deco Festival Napier Free community events which are the cornerstone and foundation of this unique, iconic event.
The 100 Club Membership Fees:
$1000 per year:
- Invitations to attend the annual Festival programme launch (October);
- Advance booking periods for ticketed events; and
- Recognition/acknowledgement as 100 Club member(s) on all www.artdeconapier.com and www.artdecofestival.co.nz websites.
$5000 per year
- All the benefits of being a Patron, plus
- Invitations to attend the annual Art Deco Festival Napier VIP lunch (February) .
$10,000 per year
- All the benefits of being a Champion, plus
- Invitations to select Art Deco Festival Napier events (February).
